Getting this error after a game or so of MW2, also in single player it's happening.
I'd tried with nothing else running in background, have latest directx installed, bios is up to date, sound drivers up to date, gpu drivers up to date.
Is there a known fix for this?

Thanks

Why are you using 4 GB on 32bit Windows? You know that you can only use 3GB on 32bit Windows?

Anyway, a simple FULL Reinstall of the game will probably help.

My guess would be because it makes FAR more sense then buying 2+1GB sticks? ":D"

I had a problem like this with Frontlines Fuel of war and Black ops.
A few other people hand same problem, they uninstalled their anti-virus programs and the game worked.
I uninstalled my anti-virus, (Avira)and both games now work great.
Hope this helps as its a quick and free fix. you can D/L Avast anti-virus which lets the games run fine.(its free)
