Currently I only know of L4D Maps and FPSBananna, are their any other sites? I remember seeing some mods that I downloaded that aren't in either of the 2 and I'm always looking for some cool new skins.

Thanks for anyone who can help :)

EDIT: also where do you find Dark Center and Dark Parish? I can't find them anywhere.

You can find them from google.

L4Dmaps is maybe the best one because it is only focusing l4d1/2 maps and nothing else. No need to filter tf2, css and other maps to find left4dead maps.

Well I obviously tried google or I wouldn't have made this site.

I don't get any good sites other than FPSBannanna nor do I find the site where I downloaded some stuff (such as Resident Evil skins for the survivors which was really great) and l4dmods.com is down and I constantly see mods (and even have some of my own) that aren't from either site. So I know there are other good modding sites I just can't find them anywhere.

I have no clue either. This game doesn't seem to have a real modding scene (by design?).

Custom content is also hard these days, free software is just barely caught up to industry standards. Blender VS 3dsMax for example... well, Blender has always been extremely potent, but just now has a full-featured Source Engine export-capable plugin come out.

FPS/GameBanana as they're called now is the closest thing to it... but is a freaking mess and nightmare to navigate... and is more of a collective FPS/GameBanana community than a quality modding site for any particular game. The whole site is just a huge turn-off if you're interested in more technical/artistic/design aspects rather than the odd "FLAMING M60 TEXTURE" mod here and there.
