Game Crash's Everytime I run it

Hi my game crash's everysingle time I run it, the menu opens up and I cant even make a account or press offline play before my whole PC locks up, only problems I am having is with this game.

Core i7 4.0Ghz, Windows 7 64bit, ATI 6990 latest drives, Soundblaster X-fi latest drivers all upto date etc.

Anyone have any help? nothing I do fix's it every time I run the game it crash's my PC and I have to do a hard reboot.

I have the same problem. ATI Radeon 6990, Win 7 x64. Game causes the machine to lock solid after a couple of seconds on the login screen. All I get is a blue coloured screen and repeating audio sample. (Not a windows bluescreen error, just fullscreen solid colour.)

That worked for me too no more freezes after I turn that off.

I did this however my PC still locks up, thanks for the help but it has not fixed it.

Try backing off your overclock to see if that helps. As the mode7 link isn't working, I also suggest you enable vsynch in the ATI control center.

Ok I back off the overclock and tried vsynch and so on but no dice, game is still hard locking my PC, Am I at the point of having to wait for a patch?
