seeing as its not a steamworks title. despite rumours to the contrary.
does this game fully support a wireless xbox 360 game controller?
is it a games for windows live title and supports achievements?
(however irrelevant and vacuous they may seem to you personally)

What does that have to do with controller support?

It's Games For Windows Certified, so yes, it supports a 360 controller. It's not a Live title so no achievements.

Yup, works just fine. Face buttons are prompted onscreen.

if it were a steamworks game, and also a console game, it invariably would support a controller.
plus i could add that if it were a steamworks game it would say it supported controller on the store page. which it doesnt do hence my asking.
but you already knew that right?

There are a lot of Steamworks games that don't support controllers. Steamworks does not mean controller compatable. And never has.

They removed that requirement actually. See Bioshock 2, or Call of Duty World at War, or a ton of others.

I have no idea what you are talking about here. As the other poster said, Steamworks and controller support have nothing to do with each other at all.

way to miss the other section of my post which states that i asked because if the game were steamworks (like rumoured) it would have stated it if were controller enabled. beause it doesnt, i asked here, and gave my reasons for asking. ;)
as for steamworks not guaranteeing controller.
i said invariably if the game is on both console and pc it does. i cant think of any console game that is also steamworks pc, that does not have controller enabled.

That might be true, I have no idea, but if it is it is a coincidence. There is no controller requirement for Steamworks console ports or anything else.
Edit: Actually I don't think the Call of Duty games have controller support and the last two are Steamworks games. I know World at War did not, though that was not Steamworks. I also doubt RUSE has controller support, though I never played it.

While many games that have Steamworks enabled also support controllers, I'm relatively confident that Steamworks doesn't necessarily require that kind of feature.
It's immaterial however - Hunted is Games for Windows certified; that ABSOLUTELY means it has 360 controller support.

I dunno what version of the Hunted: Demon's Forge store page you're looking at but the one' I'm looking at says "Controller Enabled" right under "Co-Op" in the Game Details section...

I was just about to post the same thing. It quite clearly states the game is controller enabled on the store page.
Maybe he's smoking some of that funny stuff? :)

NO, it does NOT. Read above. See: Bioshock 2, or many others.

You are correct in that 360 controller support seems to have been moved to a a conditional requirement these days, as per the MSDN certification rules (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee417691.aspx#_1.4). Most developers choose to meet this requirement though, hence the confusion.
C'est la vie.

360 c0ntroller does NOT work for this game. It states controller vibration on off in game options but there is no option to set your controller as primary.
