noob question

I bought this game when steam had it on sale for $10 and talk about money well spent..I have been playing it for 4 now and going for the medals itself has been super fun...My question is, I play with an xbox 360 controller,and although the cars handle great using it, do any gamers use a racing wheel to play this ? If so, is it worth the purchase or stick to my controller?

some people may but some may use key board or what you are using so the steering wheel? probably makes it a bit more realistic and maybe will work

Me and my brother used the keyboard layout and he managed to get all the medals - including the Nadeos - on every single track. I faltered about halfway through the red tracks. :)

My experience was that the game doesn't really benefit from using an analogue stick, let alone a wheel. Other players' mileage may vary though.

Probably it's already outdated...
But yeah, if you have an xBox-Controller I would keep it (I use it too).
Don't change to keyboard if you are good with the controller...
And as I know, it's not worth buying and steering wheel and that stuff, because it' much harder and you will never be able to drive as good as with controller or keyboard.

Stay with the Xbox controller mate ... wheels just cannot meet the needs of TM. I use a Ps1/2 controller and adapter :)

Professional Island Racers like myself use a Gran Turismo racing wheel to make very smooth turns.

Keyboard is easier to handle than controller or wheel.
