Hello,
first of all - sorry for your problems!
Can you see any pattern in the crashes. Do they happen at the same place in the game all the time or are the totally random?
Also, can you have a look for crashdumps in the game-directory? These might help us figure out what the problem might be. The game should be located under "your steam installation folder"\steamapps\common\hamilton's great adventure\
Best Regards
Rikard

Hi,
same problem here, the game always crashes to the desktop after 20-30 seconds.
Most of the time i get to the start screen of the game (the one after the logos) but 10-20 seconds after that (It doesn't matter whether i try to start a game or i just wait in the start screen) the game crashes without an error message to the desktop.
Newest drivers of sound & video are installed, running win 7 x64 with service pack 1 & all updates + newest direct x.
P.S.
there a no (!!!) crashdumps in the folder...

Frustrating.
We will put the tech team to look into this tomorrow morning. Any more details or help are very appreciated.
Can you post your spec and if you have any special stuff.
Cheers,
Martin

No Probleme....but first: last time i try i could get into the game for about a minute, and this time it crashes with the standard windows message (aka "the programm xyz has a problem").
But again there are no crashdump file(s).
My specs:
I have an GeForce GTX 580 with latest offical drivers (PhysX & VS Runtimes are also installed).
Sound is a G35 Logitech Headset and Realtek HD OnBoard-Sound (tried both, both latest drivers).
CPU is a Intel i2500 (Sandy Bridge) & 8 GB Ram.
OS is Win 7 x64.
The only special thing is a PCI-Raid Controller i use for my old ATA DVD-ROM & DVD-Burner.
And maybe that OnBoard NEC USB 3.0 chip.

Ever since i installed the 275.33 drivers, i have been trying to reproduce the error like i did when i had installed the 275.27 drivers. It appears that the issue is resolved and the only major change i can think of is that i updated the drivers.
Cheers anyways fellas and awesome game BTW

I'm also having issues with frequent crashes.
I'm running Windows 7 64 bit. Core i5 2500k, HD 6950, 8 GB DDR3.
No crashdumps in the program files directory. I have however noticed the crashes seems to occur mostly in a menu or cutscene.
Hope the issue gets fixed soon, as this seems like it could be a fun puzzle game.

I have had a couple of freeze ups as well, had to ctrl alt delete to end the programme. It dosent happen often and its mainly after the games been played between 30-60 mins. Anytime its happened its been ingame and seems completely random.

I just installed version 9.10.0129, and am still experiencing the same crashes as post-update. Not sure what version I had before this.

Updated to the version mentioned above.
Still unable to load level #3. The game crashes to desktop as soon as it finishes the cutscene and reaches the loading stage.

Hi ArmoredCavalry. Just to check, Is it the Steam version of the game you are playing or is it bought from another distributor?

Hi, as per your support email, I grabbed the latest version off of Gamer's Gate. This solved the issue.
The game is now working perfectly! Thanks for your support.
Just wanted to leave this post here in case anyone else runs into the same issue.

Hey there, my game keeps crashing on start :(
I'm using win 7 x64 with plenty of ram and a Radeon HD 5700. I'm using Physx something.0513 (Don't know where you guys found the 514 one).
Good news (sorta) is I have a crashdump found in the steam hamilton's application folder, though I have tried to send it to your mail address and it came back saying support@fatshark.se does not exist on the server.
I also updated the drivers of my graphics card. I've been able to play the game at work on a similar win 7 config only with a geforce 260 instead of a radeon card.
EDIT: Oh boy, went by the forums for hamilton on your own site, and came upon that advice on rebooting the computer (which I neeeeever do). Now working ! Sometimes Steam's "silent installs" which won't tell you those good advices are kind of playing against us aren't they ? Anyway, got an adventure to do.

Happy to hear it worked out! If you experience any other issues you can send a mail to hamilton@support.fatshark.se and we can take it from there :D Enjoy the game!
Cheers
Sadir
