Unable to lunch ModernWarfare 2

I bought the game three days ago and I could not play.

when I try to launch the game a window appears:

preparing to launch CoD:modern warfare....

but the game doesn't start. I have reinstaled the game three times.

I've got a new pc, with a good graphic card. Im using windows 7, 64k version.

Any idea? thanks.

You dont have to feed it before it goes you know. its a game not a pet

Have you tried restarting steam/PC? You can also try changing content servers though I don’t know if that will actually work.

Are you running the latest graphics drivers or did you just install the ones off of the dvd?
