Game crashes on start-up

I got the game during the game, and installed it. I tried playing it, but it crashes when the start-up window opens. I uninstalled it, but it didn't work. Then I tried verifying game cache, but it still didn't run. Any ideas on how to fix? I really want to play

Having the same problem. It's really terrible because I think everyone that bought the game was effectively ripped off.

Try manually running the directx and other needed programs in the games install directory. I had this but it was fixed after running those. Even though all the software may be up to date you never know if there's a missing or corrupted file somewhere that can bring you crashing down.

I've also found that the auto install used when you first launch the game didn't work properly for me. And finally, don't forget to reboot your computer after the install and before you click play.
