What a waste of time and money this game was. Why does Steam not apply a rating system, then others can rate the game and you can know not to waste your money and time on a game written for gamers with less ability and expectation than the more intellectual gamers. I highly recommend that if you are a gamer with intellectual, i.e. challenging, intelligent, artistic, expectations, that you DO NOT buy this one. Brain dead.:o

Thanks for the detailed explanation of why you don't like the game.

I think the game is great, and it appears that most posters on this forum would agree with me. There's nothing wrong with having a negative opinion of a game, I've written quite a few posts explaining why I didn't like a game. If you can't be bothered to explain why you don't like a game, no one is going to be interested in your opinion.

How ironic that your first post entitled "Waste of time" should itself be an utter waste of time. Include constructive criticisms detailing your issues with the game, or keep your ramblings in your head. This thread does no one any good, not the players, nor the developers.

i agree with the op, really, its not like theres loads of places on the internet you can go and find out about a game and read/see/hear others peoples opinons of it before you buy it.

Such a rating system does not paint a true picture of the game score anyway seeing how many trolls and haters with no sense of objective reviewing or scoring values lurk this forum / the Internet. Loads of those would just give scores of 0 simply because they hate a certain feature of the game or for not being able to run the game due to their incompetence in configuring / updating their own rig, or for the game being too hard or for even more ridiculous reasons. Forums, demos and gameplay vids are the most important tools for me to determine if I want to buy or not. unless there is a mega sale ofcourse, then I'd form my own opinion about the game(s) ;)

For me the game is alright, a fairly decent strategy game with a twist which is somewhat addictive. Perfect for shorter gaming sessions. I bought it during this weekends indie deal so I do not regret my purchase one bit.

The store page is somewhat misleading though as you do not control any armies directly and the spells aren't that devastating...yet (I have not progressed verry far in the campaign)

I picked this game up through the $9.99 indie pack and it was well worth the $2. Considering that, I rate it 5/5. If I had paid $5 for it, I'd still give it 5/5.

It's simple, addictive and fun... worth the money! My first time playing, I couldnt' stop after 2 straight hours!

A rating system would be nice.
Anyway, I think that S&S is a decent game, worth a low price.
