BR problem

I have this nasty problem. I am at the Eagles nest part and im only 18 BR. Is it normal to have such low BR at that spot? Because i was fighting everything in my way. And i see people saying you need atleast 35+BR to have a chance at that battle. So i have a question. Did you guys had the same problem? If not then how did you get your BR up so fast?

No it isn't a problem. A lot of people do it even lower using a stat grinding trick. I remember the first time I got there I was around BR 28 and I got owned because I quickly grinded BR, not understanding how it worked.

I won't go into much detail here, but if you didn't know, game difficulty is directly linked to BR. You should focus on upping stats quickly, not BR or you will severely gimp yourself and make the game very very difficult.

If you can beat the Nest of Eagles at BR 18, then do it. If not, look into stat grinding the Skull Scavengers.

The other option, and easier option if you are ok with it. Is to just play the game normally. When you get to a part you just cannot beat, use a trainer to reset you BR to something a bit lower, or back to 1. It could be considered cheating but it could be considered a second chance to get back on track with stats and BR without completely restarting your game.

Im using PC version and i read in wiki that BR on PC version does not affect enemys at all. They dont get stronger or get more HP.

The effect was reduced, but still present. Doesn't effect bosses, but I believe regular enemies and rare monsters are effected.

More importantly higher BR results in enemies using higher tiers of skills, and as you progress, some of those skills become absolutely devastating if your stats like HP aren't up to par.

It isn't as bad as it was on the Xbox version, but it is still a factor.

Your BR is perfectly fine, and, yes, in my first play-through I was BR 24 and I had my behind given to me on a silver plate. I had to replay three times that battle to win.

No, you don't necessarily need to be BR 35+ to win. It depends on how you play the game and whether your BR corresponds, even remotely, to the stats you have gained. [In my last play-through (a low BR game) I was BR 10 at Eagles Nest.] But, even if your stats are low you can still win the day: switch members between unions and try different formations. Another thing to keep in mind is your Unions' morale. Raising your morale will result in you doing more damage to the enemy's units while their hits will be less fatal to you.
