I have UPnP enabled.

Sometimes NAT says strict, sometimes open - either way cant find matches.

Managed to do 3 matches as soon as i finished DLing it this morning, but then i quit game, came back 1hr later and couldnt find any matches...

What do? :<

NO stop spreading this lie. it does not work i have tested it, it does not do S***.

you just need to wait. wait wait wait. nothing else fixes it but WAITING, no action required

it does work for me every time i might add, i start a private match wait about 30 seconds after the game starts, then leave and every time i get connected right away to a normal game.

yet again you are wrong. its because it takes up the time it would have taken if you just wait.

Do this, it is the fix:

Join a MW2 group or have friends on your own list playing the game. If you have no friends, then join a group, and join game on one of them from within your friends list which shows groups as well.

Join their session, and FINISH the game in progress.

Back out AFTER it drops everyone back to intermission.

NOW your game is fixed, right?

I have fixed more than 1 dozen games like this thus far, for all different people, it works, the private match ♥♥♥♥ does NOT work, he is just unaware that the game takes a few minutes to warm up at first. If you wait more than 5 minutes for a game, you need the fix I have outlined above.

Some firewalls are known to mess with MW2. Comodo firewall is one ot these, best thing is to use Windows Firewall with a lightweight anti virus, like Panda Cloud Free, these won't mess with MW2 MP.
