Hello everyone!

Hearing wonderful news back in May (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/301145/news/next-brothers-in-arms-news-very-soon/) that the new BiA game would be unveiled was music to my ears! "I could handle snow", I thought as I read the article. The excitement I had that day was so thick, you could cut it with a knife. I even couldn't wait to know what new directions (http://www.computerandvideogames.com/263248/news/brothers-in-arms-next-to-contest-modern-warfare/) the BiA game was taking!

How wrong I was to think so.

Upon seeing BiA: Furious Four (http://pc.ign.com/articles/117/1174661p1.html), I instantly shat brix. They were not brix of happiness either. More like brix made of sadness and... fury? Anyways, the news was devastating to me. How could a brand name like BiA, a series well known for it's emotional gameplay and amazing story, be slapped onto a game as silly and offending as Furious Four? I think that most of the issue is with the fact that the BiA title is simply used. The other part of it was that we were promised to see new BiA content and were suddenly shown Furious Four instead.

Never have I been so dissapointed by a company in my 18 years of gaming (I am 21). Fear not though. I do believe I read somewhere that the actual BiA game we know and love is still coming to fruition. I am still optimistic in the next TRUE sequel to BiA:HH. It better offer us all some closure to Baker's story!

Anyways, that's my two cents on the subject, now I'd like to hear yours.

This is absolutely proposterous..I tought it was some sick mixup until I saw the Gearbox logo...there is no excuse for this r*ape of a genious franchise..its obvious their just trying to milk the name of the franchise as the only thing it has in common seem to be the year its set in and the developers...

Low blow...really low..hope this flops miserably.

Although I'd like to be optimistic...

I honestly got a sinking sad feeling in my gut when I saw the trailer. No joke. Actual, physical disappointment.

My exact reaction as well..this series was with me trough a long and difficult yet great time in the real life military...this made me feel..well frankly betrayed, and they announced this on june 6th of all dates...so sad to see a series wich was founded on authenticity, real life people and events and respect for the veterans go this way..

I know its just a video game, but hot damn ,a game called "brothers in arms" should not be like they showed in this trailer...its disrespectful.

They need to just call it "Furious Four". There is nothing about BiA in this. Looks more like "Inglorious Bastages" for the PC. Gimme a break.

BiA was all about authenticisim, real WWII, and squad play. This looks more like TF2 gameplay.

It might still be a fun game, but, please, take BiA off of the title.

PS: dude, what's with thegreen? quite annoying.

I found it to be very soothing and nice:)
I have played all the BiA-games. I am not a huge fan, but I liked them for their own style. Very serious games made with deep respect for the source material.
This game just poops on all their previous work and says, "Actually we never really took the whole ww2 thing seriously. We just like guns n stuff. And wacky oneliners. Yes yes".

I originally wanted to do it in Dark Red, but it was too hard to read.

SEE WHAT I MEAN?

".

I completely agree with you. This latest incarnation of BIA has nothing in common with the spirit of the original games other than the letters "BIA".

FF looks to me like another example of dollar driven commercialism made for mass appeal by dumbing down.

Like others have admitted, I am disappointed by FF and think its full title is misleading.:(

well with the addition of hells highway turning into a FPS instead of a tactical game... i dont care since the series was going down the craper
