It wont start up (help)

Been playing last night no probs. Today go to launch it the launch menu comes up i select dx 11 version, the little hourglass rotates for a few seconds and then nothing, it just wont start up?? also tried the dx9, same... Have tried to verify the installation by steam and all good.
Anyone got any ideas?? Thanks

That doesn't make much sense. Something must have changed. Can you think of anything that might have occured like an automatic update? Did you just start playing for the first time that "last night", then exit, restart the next day, and boom it doesn't show up the second time you ran the game?

nope changed nothing! duke nukem still works as do other steam games, I'll try reinstalling it?? was good game though :D
