I've googled it, and people say I have to make a seperate frame for every frame of my Gif. image.
How would I do that without Photoshop?
I've already got my Gif. image, and I've downloaded VTFEdit, all I need to know is how to extract all of the images from my Gif. image into seperate images.

There's no way to do it without an image editing program.
Just get GIMP (http://www.gimp.org/). Copy each separate layer and save as an individual image.

I have more experience converting images to GFs... :(
For my fading spray
AND
For my animated spray.
I use VTFedit, DirectX Texture editor, Quick and Dirty Bloodlines, Photoshop.
Google is your friend, there,s a lot of tutorial about that.
