What do I do?

When do you see this message? Was this when you were trying to launch A.V.A? If possible, please give us as much information as possible so that we can investigate the issue further.

Did you try to restart Steam?
I had this too, didn't go away until I restarted Steam... I presume Steam kept some file locked and the launcher couldn't utilize it yet.

I'm having the same exact issue. I tried restarting Steam but that didn't do anything. I really do want to play your game but this isn't a good start.

The same thing is happening for me.

What happens is that when I launch the game it goes into the steam launcher to log into my IjjI account. I put in all my account info and click sign in. It looks like it will stop for a few seconds and come back with the error. "The steam session ticket has been expired. Please restart Steam Launcher again." It seems like it is trying to connect my Steam ID with my IjjI ID but it can't and comes back with the error. And again, this is on the launcher after you start the game on steam.

i have the same problem when i insert all my info and click login it doesn't do anything.
i can press the log in button 100 times doesn't do anything
no matter what button i press on the luncher doesn't do anything
cant even close it i have to close it in the windows task bar
help please

I'm getting the same error message. Fixed it by running Steam as administrator - no "Steam session expired"-message anymore.

I'm using Windows 7 here, with UAC enabled and my standard user account is NOT an administrator. When running Steam normally and trying to start the game, it asks me for admin privileges, which essentially makes the game run with a different Windows user account than Steam. This admin account of course isn't running Steam right now, which is probably the cause of the error message (at least for me).

This is pretty ridiculous, that the game doesn't support this user account setup, which is being recommended by Microsoft themselves since 2001 at least. :(

I tried to run it as admingestrator, nope. I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit. Still gives me the same error message.
Tried everything, restarting Steam etc. Nothing seems to work. FIX THIS PLEASE!

Could you guys please try both Section A and Section B in the following troubleshooting tips posted here: http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1933147. Let me know if you continue to have this issue.

EDIT: Nevermind, neither work for me. Running Steam as administrator crashes my computer, too.

Like already mentioned, Solution A works for me, but is really, really inconvenient. Solution B does not work, the game won't start at all since without UAC there's no way to get admin privileges while using my standard user account.

This is disappointing. A game shouldn't need admin privileges for normal operation (except for installation, obviously) - this'll essentially break the game on properly configured Windows PCs.

Tried A, doesn't help, nor B, nor C ...
I am still getting the same error.
I turned off my Antivirus, UAC is off as always, administrator mode... Nothing.

Yes, it worked for me as well. However now I am geting a complex error (*random numbers and letters* The game was terminated by an unknown error. We are sory for the inconvenience) when I try running the game. I chose "Send e-mail to developers" but I was hoping there was something I could do now to fix it. I need it soon for I am leaving for camp for a week in an hour.
Please help me :(

I was also having this problem and discovered yesterday i had no problems running Reactor.exe file in compatibility mode for XP SP2...i have win 7 home premium

I have the same problem, also. I've done everything and nothing has helped. I'm administrator, UAC is off, no anti virus, dunno why mine isn't working. I fell in love with this game the first day and it's really good for F2P. Please help?

Alright, I cannot screencap the error, but no one seems to be having it. I get the error about 4 seconds into the launcher, and I choose "send e-mail to developers" but it has not been fixed in a week.

Restart Steam and verify the integrity of the game cache. This happened to me and that's what I did. Worked afterwards (i had 11 missing files)

i just tried this just to be sure, im really glad i did. 65 files missing.

steam needs to make sure their game downloaders ACTUALLY download ALL the files..

p.s sorry for a huge bump but, yeah just throwing out there that this isnt fixed.

I'm having the same problem in Windows XP Pro SP2

It asks me to put my ijji account on my steam reactor, but i had done that before, it says me "only 1 ijji account is accepted per steam account" and i click yes, then it says that error "Steam session ticket has expired, please restart Steam and try again"

I restart Steam, try again and the same thing happens...
