Steam wallet with CO?

The announcement says you can do microtrans with the steam wallet. Is this true or is it just the nonsense buy a bunch of bulk points deal?

iirc you can buy the atari points using the steam wallet, then you buy the normal stuff using the atari points

If you launch the steam version of CO:FFA and you go to the c-store you will be given the option to buy Atari Points with your Steam Wallet.
