Is Gold Membership Worth it?

I recently installed this game and so far I'm loving it, but I was wondering if gold membership is worth it for the amount that you pay, or if it's really just a waste of money after the conversion to F2P. Thanks for any answers.

If you enjoy the game, then yes. I think Turbine has the best F2P system of all current F2P titles though. Both LoTRO and D&D Online are excellent. This game could definitely use some work but if super heroes are your thing then I think you will be satisfied with pay for gold.

I don't regret going Lifetime from the start. I can let it sit for months and then come back to it when I get the urge again. Having the little extra stuff like toon slots and Free Form toons is nice as well.

Just to add another voice, if you enjoy the game then yes, gold is completely worth it. I've been playing since release and still enjoy it, things have only gotten better for subscribers since the f2p was released.

The real draw for going gold is being able to make a freeform hero.
