View Full Version : Very deceptive to call it free to play

Pretty deceptive. The game is designed in a way where you level up faster than you make money. With increasing level, the game becomes harder, requiring better equipment.
The better equipment cost are priced in such a way where early on in the game you will have to put real money into the game to get equipment.
This game is not free.

It is easy to make money in this game and get the items you need. If you expect to get 2-star items in the first day then you are crazy.
It takes time to get items and it took me two days of working the market to get the money I need for the bomber set I wanted. It costs more then the others but it has stats on it. For those that just want to progress it is not that costly.
Play the game for a couple days and progress...not that hard.

Your progress will be slower if you don't pay cash, but the forums are full of people with five-star gear who have never paid a cent.

I got 2-star items in the first day! :D
Now 3+ star items are another story.. -.-

I am working on the spiral bomb set so the recipe and such are costing more money. But I expect they will lose all through tier two. I could of gone normal but the reduced time on setting bombs sounds great. So all my energy and time are going into making this instead of going through clockworks :D. But as I said only 9hrs in over 2 days so not bad imo.

Edit: I also wasted money at the start of 1-star items when I could of just skipped those and went right to 2-star. But was a learning experience.

take some time to gradually upgrade your gear so you are allowed into T2 depth-dungeons. at that point you can just outright buy energy at no discretion because you are drowning in materials.

I don't see the problem?
Most f2p MMO's restrict you, and restrict your acsess to content. This game places NO restrictions on you, and no restrictions on the content you can play. You are given 100% of the game for free.
Perhaps you need some perspective. There are a grand total of 3 tiers. Acsess to tier 2 requires 4 -2-star items.
Crafting a 2 star Item costs 400 crowns, 50 ce + recipe cost of 1000 crowns.
OR buy a star item from a crafter for 3500 crowns.
So AT MAX, with your 100 free mist energy, if you decided to not try at all to make crowns on your own and just sit there, you have acsess to 2/3 tiers in 4 days tops.
Most people I know these days are into tier 2 on Day 2.
Tell me then sir, how many other "free to play" mmo's, or any other mmo for that matter, have you 1 step away from the endgame within 4 days?

If you are doing it right, you can be self-sustaining plus tons of profit in about 3-4 days worth of play. Less with all of the mist tanks being given away now.
By self-sustaining, I mean that you can buy energy and go through dungeons and break even.
