Is there a demo available. I don't buy games without playing demos first

I want a demo too because I don't really believe in these system requirements. Seriously why do you need 256+ mb of video ram for this game?

There isn't a demo, but there are plenty of videos up of gameplay on youtube.
As for the system requirements, when it comes down to it, most games like this have similar requirements due to the amount of bullets that are created/deleted off the screen, as well as other tasks the game has to perform.

I was going to buy Defense Grid when it was on sale but I thought I'd look at the demo.
It turned out the game randomly crashed my video card locking up my PC and none of the solutions worked.
Hence I won't buy an indie game with no demo either, especially one where people are complaining of technical problems on the forum.
I bought Jamestown when it was on sale after watching a few gameplay videos and I'm so glad I did.
I'd still love to see Final Form release a demo so I can convince my friends who are as frugal as I am to try the game. I've had a ton of fun playing Jamestown in both single-player and multiplayer modes and I'm confident a one-stage or even half-stage demo with one or two ships would convince many of my friends who say, "But I don't like shmups" to buy Jamestown.

I just picked up the latest humble bundle. I hadn't heard of Jamestown before today, but after playing one level I would have bought it if I didn't already own it via the bundle. This is a game where I think a demo would be a huge driver of sales.
