Left 4 Dead 2 - Total download amount.

I recently purchased L4D2 and am currently downloading it.
I only have a certain amount of data to download it.
On the store page it says "At least 7.5GB HDD space"
The download says it is 12GB.

I have read around that that is actually the full uncompressed size and that (depending on the files in the game) the actual size is about 50% - 90% of that shown size.

Left 4 Dead (1) said it was 6GB but my usage showed only 4GB was downloaded.

Does anyone know the actual size (the compressed size I'm apparently downloading) for Left 4 Dead 2?

its actually 12gb. theyve added things since release

compressed size is 2gb or so less iirc, might be 3-4gb less

Yeah, Games now a days, Always Assume it will take up 1 - 4 more GB then it says.

Maybe "Compressed" it's the size they say, but obviously uncompressed, it's much more.

And don't forget all the DLC the games has had over the years.
Idk if the Store adds the space for those in the Requirements.

well it's 13 gb the core files and you vtf it's 7.5 gb so 21,5 gb
