I tried the demo last night and I really really loved it. Fantastic concept, loved the little commentary and the whole vibe of the game was chilled out and great (apart from those pesky asteroid shooter guys, they are annoying xD)

But I was wondering, what is the difference between the demo and full game. I noticed you can't go past small star in the demo and assumed it was because of the demo version but aside from growing, what else is there that can be done? I noticed the achievements but didn't get what they were for.

Seriously considering getting this though :D

Okay, I'll just list what the full version has that the demo hasn't:

- Ability to save the game
- Ability to save up to 8 different systems
- Access to all the ingame missions and the story
- Ability to level up beyond a blue star
- Achievements and various other minor things.

I deliberately made the demo reasonably open with unlimited sandbox play so people could get used to the "unusualness" of the game before deciding whether they wanted to tackle the missions content!

Wow, thanks for the quick reply, I can see what people mean when they say you take care of any (potential) customers :D
I'm gonna buy it and I hope it sells well for you. I'm already evangelising to a buddy right now :D

Having just tried the demo I found it (and this is just my opinion) a bit boring...

I like challenges and something to do - something to aim for etc. etc. - a LITTLE of that in the demo might help...

As it stands, it's less a game and more a screensaver - a nice screensaver mind!
