Guess that's what he means:

"Voice" is greyed out. I also have a question: are there no advanced sound options? In Black Ops I can adjust the sounds individually (voice, music, SFX etc.) but I can't find that on MW2.

Is your mic being detected? Also, I'm not sure if it is in this game or not, but check to see if there is a spot in Gameplay or something to enable sound.

No Advanced Options..sorry

puffader or MP5k, i noticed your speaker settings are set for Windows Default, MP5k, there are other options you could try,

Windows Default,
Mono,
Stereo,
4 Speakers,
5.1 Speakers.

Changing these may help or, for your G35 puffader,

Also for the both of you try your Steam / Settings / Voice, options in Steam.

Just a couple of things you could try you two, i hope they help. :)

"That was confusing to answer", lol.

puffader.

Did you try your Steam settings. "Steam / Settings / Voice, options in Steam"?

Or Logitech G35 Surround Sound Headset drivers? try this, you never know it may help.
