keep me interested

i normally don't like MMO games because they never end and have a monthly fee, I'm giving this a go because of no monthly fee but all im getting out of the game is talk to some, accept a quest, click on green text, sit back tell you get there, kill something, go back, end quest.

im trying my best to stay interested but its not going so well maybe some of you can tell me somethings that could be interesting to do or say what i should look foreword to on the road ahead.

I mean... that's pretty much what an mmo is. If you aren't interested in the story and don't have any friends to play with, I'm not sure how it's really different than any other RPG.
