healing issue

Hey, I've got a quick question that hopefully someone on here can answer. I'm new to these games, and I started playing Jedi Academy.

I'm enjoying it so far, but I cannot figure out how to heal! I have walked over medkits, etc., but they don't appear to insta heal me, and I can't find a key to heal on the key bindings list.

Hopefully it's something silly I'm not noticing. Any help? :)

You're supposed to be healed automatically whenever you walk into a medkit and/or shield booster thing, if you've lost any health/shield that is. The only other way to heal yourself is with force heal.

I learned force heal as well, and mapped it to my keyboard, and it doesn't seem to have an effect either.

In that case I'm afraid it's a bug. Try verifying the game cache by right-clicking the game in your library, go to properties, local files and then hit verify the integrity of the game cache. If it finds a corrupted/missing file etc. it will automatically download a replacement. Try running the game again after that and see if it didnt fix it, if it didn't then I'm afraid I don't know how to help you.
