I have a pretty high end rig
i7 920 @ 4.0ghz
Tri sli gtx 280
6gb DDR3 ram
Windows 7
1920x1080 resolution.
My issue is that this game seems to have pretty poor performance. Overlord 1 ran flawlessly at 8x AA. This game, I realize has some graphical updates, but the performance is strange.
My sli loads at around 20-30% so there is a lot of headroom left on the cards. The game floats around 40-60fps, and it fluctuates all over the place. Turning down all the graphic options to the lowest only gains me about 10fps, but it still varies all over the place.
I don't understand the issue here, I've tried different sli modes, turning off sli nothing seems to effect it. I've tried forcing high AA but utilization on the cards never seems to break 50%, and FPS will always rocket all over the place between 40 and 60 fps.
Makes no sense when I can run games like Crysis and Warhead on max settings and get a better feeling performance. Even GTA 4 on high settings felt more playable then this.
Anyone have any input?
