from ending to a new start

i got a question if ill end the first story line in D2 will it start a the new chapter with out me needed to go back to the mainmenue and then make a new char and rebuy a set of armors?

Yes, Flames of Vengeance will begin automatically with your character after Ego Draconis finishes.
