lost saved game

im trying to log in my saved game but i cant find it anymore ... but the game i was playing it was not gold edition ... im just wondering is there a way to get my save game back or i have to start over :O ...

The target savegame folder changed between the original release and the Gold edition when we had to conform to "Games for Windows" standards. I think if you look at the My Options - Files section you'll find a check mark for using Windows' savegame location. Uncheck that and it will likely go back to the previous folder location.
