I'd like to know this too. Except I have ARMA2 only. Can it be done or do I have to waste space on the free version.

If you have combined operations. Run ARMA 2 standalone only and you can play with the free players. IF you have the full version of ARMA 2 then you can still play with the ARMA 2 free players as long as you're not using any addons required content.

I found the answer to my own question. Check it out here: http://community.bistudio.com/wiki/ARMA2_PackageCombination#Multi-Player_compatibility_of_various_ARMA_2_title_distr ibutions

You're both fine. Retail Arma2 is MP compatible with ArmA2:Free.

Since you have Combined Operations differlot, you'll just need to run A2 on it's own, instead of OA/CO.

edit: Damn, that was fast. See above.:D
