If you are considering buying buying Singularity and you like to play games with a 360 controller, go buy it for the 360. On the PC, the 360 labels are like "Press Button 11" instead of "Press X". I've tried to contact Activision support but they seem to have no clue.

That said, if you want to play with Mouse/Keyboard it's probably awesome. I'm just so used to playing with a 360 controller, now.

The 360 controls for this game work just fine. Go to your control panel and write down which button is which if you're having trouble remembering. The buttons are all labeled by numbers just like the game uses.

Activision is just the publisher. You'd need to get in touch with whoever handled the PC port, and even then I seriously doubt they'd give you the time of day.

Well your problem isn't the game, it's the fact you only use the one type of controls. It really shrinks your choices for good controls. Some of the best games ever made did not have controller support.

Don't get me wrong, I use a controller for specific games too but I'm also quite use to using a Mouse and Keyboard for the games that have no (or bad) controller support.

I'm not having a dig, I'm just saying that you should spend less time with a controller and get use to M+KB. Controller support is never good on PC.

Hate to tell you this but that's how controller buttons are labeled on PCs. DirectInput devices, all joysticks assign the buttons to number values starting from 0 and moving up. You can see this by opening the control panel and going to Game Controllers (or Devices & Printers > Your Controller > Game Controller Settings in Vista/Win7). Of course microsoft being microsoft, I wouldn't put it past them to include a patch that doesn't show the number values for their own 360 controller, something other manufacturers wouldn't be able to do.

The problem here is that recently games have come out especially for the Xbox360 controller and it's fancy buttons. By itself this isn't bad; but there are several games already on steam that require a 360 controller and won't work with any other ones (superior ones) that I may own.

Did you try MotioninJoy? I hear tons of fantastic accounts of how well it works, but generally these people use it for PS3 pads. I can't remember if it works as well for Logitech pads, if that's what you're talking about.

Thanks for the heads up, OP. I absolutely love the modern 360 controller (especially silver version). Since I hear it still works, I may get it anyways, but was indeed hoping for a fancy UI that changes based on what we use like Capcom's games.
