any advice?

hello i bought and dl'd homefront this weekend and after install i tried to play but it says its launching homefront then my friends status turns to ingame for about 3-5 sec then nothin happens and my status goes back to online :confused: i tried verify'n the file and it say they are good i have uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times tried even changin my country in steam for dl but still same thing

this is getting very annoying


any1 know whats goin on or how to fix it?

Try restarting your PC if you haven't already. If that doesn't work I found that the game performs and behaves better if you disable desktop composition. To do that go into the steam folder find the Homefront.exe then go to properties> compatibility then check the disable desktop composition button. Hope that helps.

i have restarted done a driver sweep removed my newer physx and installd the 1 that came with the game still no dice i looked in the homefront.exe file but could not find the option that u spoke of

i have a support ticket but steam is slowwwww to help
