EA reminds me of the kid at camp who, because they aren't getting all the attention, they refuse to join in the fun. Everyone else is out there having a blast and there is that one kid just sitting off to the side pouting.
Anyway, I was interested in what sort of Sims 3 deals they were going to offer through Steam, but I guess there's nothing to look at under EA (except oddly enough Medal of Honor).
Here's to hoping EA finally puts on their swimsuit and joins everyone in the pool before the summer festivities are over. They are always more fun with more participants!

Medal of Honor is on sale (as you said).
Misleading title is misleading.
Also, there might be EA games on sale in the future. The sale is for the next 10 days..

I guess to clarify, clicking on the "Publisher Catalogs" button features just about every other major publisher and no EA.
Also, I dont consider Medal of Honor to be "part of this sale" simply because that game has been on sale in one form or another every week since it released. I think it's simply Steam trying to burn off the rest of the keys for that game as people either have it or don't want it by this point.
The title's not misleading, it says exactly what I wanted it to say. I'm wondering if EA as a publisher is going to have it's catalog of games on sale at any point, not just one or two here and there on daily deals. Given EA's recent behavior toward all things Steam, they are truly acting childish and we, the players, are being left out in the cold.
I did go over to origin and they have Sims 3 vanilla for some 40% off, but I just dont want a dozen different platforms to juggle between just to play games. If I could, say, buy it on origin and activate it on Steam, I would, but given origin and sims are both EA products and EA has a problem with sharing, that's unlikely.
Edit: Hurray! Before, when I had posted this thread, there wasn't much to look at for EA. Turns out the Sims 3 pack is available for $80! Best Sims 3 deal I've found to date! Will probably pick it up shortly. Perhaps EA and Steam ARE working well together behind the scenes. Still would be nice to see EA catalog as part of the publishers catalogs on sale.

EA I believe, had a EA week on Steam starting May 2nd 2011. Maybe they don't want to share the limelight during the summer sale. I don't belive they have anything left that they offer on Steam I want anyway. Whats really sadder is they don't even offer their full catalog on their own Origin. I would so buy DD copies of the older NFS games among other things.

This is Steams biggest sale ever, almost every game is on sale, thousands of them
almost every single EA game is full price, only a few exceptions.
