Are you not even getting to the initial splash screen? Please send your log files from:
%appdata%\deadmage\garshasp\logs

to support@garshasp.com

I am in the same boat. Try to start the game and it says something about installing flash and just quits. I keep seeing requests for the logs from %appdata%\deadmage\garshasp\logs but there is no such directory. My guess is that it is failing on some dependency install before the game can even start and begin logging.

I saw in another thread a link to here:

http://forums.adobe.com/message/2775457#2775457

To download a different flash version, but that didn't help. I also tried renaming the flash executable bundled with the game, but that didn't help either.

%appdata% is in fact the application data folder of your windows operating system. if you just type %appdata% in the text box on top a a windows explorer or in the run text box of the start menu, the appropriate location will be automatically opened for you.

Update!!

Here is everything I did:

Downloaded the flash .exe from the link above and installed it.
Renamed the bundled flash executable so that Steam coundnt find it and try to run it. This is located in: C:\Program Files (x86)\steamapps\common\theMonsterSlayer\
Ran all the other executables in the redist folder to install them. Again, these are in: C:\Program Files (x86)\steamapps\common\theMonsterSlayer\
Copied all the .dll files from the PhysXInstall over into C:\Program Files (x86)\steamapps\common\theMonsterSlayer\distro folder

After this I am able to start the game through Steam.

Been trying to boot the game all morning, getting nothing so far. Tried to find log files as you suggested, and there is no deadmage/garshasp directory in the folder that pops up.

Tried running the flash exe from the steamapps garshasp folder, told me it was out of date. I am using the newest Flash install on Windows 7.

I'll keep trying to get you something more helpful, like a logfile ;p

I tried all the suggestions on this page and I got nothing, now every time I try to launch the game the steam box say launching Garshasp comes up then closes this is not worth the money I payed for it seriously.

Ok so this apparently worked only after I screamed at steam and went to get a drink the game all of a sudden started to respond to me. I would also suggest after doing all of this to verify your cache folders.

If you check your download window there was actually a patch for it this afternoon sometime. After that it is booting fine for me, and perhaps you :)

Thanks to the devs for turning this round so quickly.

I'm having the same issue. It won't start for me. I uninstalled and reinstalled the game three times now, so obviously that's not the answer. The game title in my library is yellow, (not sure what that means) and it says either "not connected" or that the game is unavailable.
