Won't even launch

Hi guys, I installed the game today after having a go on the old X-Wing Alliance and getting a taste for space shootery once more.

Problem is, I stupidly forgot that DS1 has that ridiculous error when it comes to the old 1680x1050 resolution. So I changed it, and now the game won't launch. It keeps restarting over and over again without even so much as an error message for comfort.

I was wondering whether there was a way of setting the launch options to the default first run settings somehow. By God, I don't want to have to re-install the bastard, my internet is running epicly slow right now and it would take a terminable time to download it again!

Well, if said data is stored in your My Documents folders, you could delete that and the game would recreate it. I believe it stores in the My Games sub folders. Otherwise, I think you'd have to reinstall to force it to "first run" state.
