One-hit deaths

I am apparently a one-hit kill in this game. Near the beginning (I hope) you meet up with your buddy, he yells they're coming through the window, I turn around and one mutant is already swinging - I'm hit, I die, from full health. Back to previous checkpoint.

Is that normal? It seems kind of - lame.

Default difficulty, I didn't make any changes. I killed a few of those things before but I don't think any of them had hit me until that scene.

I don't spend that much time in games and I'd rather not play the same stretch over and over again. At least it was cheap.

If your dying from one hit something is very wrong this game is extremely easy for normal mode I was very disappointed with how easy it was to play. That is until the game crashed and I wasted 6 hours of my life just to have to start at the start. Haha oh well guess ill just put it on the side and play it in a month or 2 after im over the fact that it wasted my whole day lol.

My guess is a glitch. If it happens again, I'd reinstall it.

I guess I'll just verify files and/or reinstall when I have time. Oh, well, spend more time troubleshooting than playing.
