Hey everybody, could someone please give me an idea of how much of this game is dialog?

I do like story and dialog in RPG's, and agree it is one of things that makes an RPG an RPG, but I really prefer games that are more action than story. I enjoyed Two Worlds II, Oblivion, Fallout 3, and New Vegas. I felt those games were a perfect mixture. On the other hand, games like Dragon Age: Origins, Mass Effect, and pretty much any other Bioware game was just way too much for my taste.

I did play the demo to the end, but I felt it was just too short to really get a feel how the rest of the game would be. Do you guys think I would like Risen? I would be very grateful if someone could give me a some feedback on this.

Peace

hey:)

i loved risen and from the games that you listed, i also loved the fallout games and two worlds 2 was ok.

this game does have quite some dialogue, maybe a little more than new vegas. the dialogues themselves however, are often in a convenient length, i rarely got nervous because there was so much text popping up.

if you like a game with little restrictions, an interesting skill system and a challenging fight system, i think you'll also enjoy risen.

Cool, thanks for the reply. I think may take a chance on it, I liked what I saw in the demo.

With a $10 sale price, there's really not much to lose anyway.
