This game isn't Cloud enabled, so I'm baffled by my inability to find the save games in the game file. Surely they can't be hosted off HD, and if it is, then why isn't it transferable? I have a home PC and a work PC, and frankly I'd rather keep my one game going over both than have different running on each.
Anyone know if there's a way to transfer saves?

Just copy your savegame from the profile in the AppData folder. Just search for "Zombie" inside your AppData folder.

I have no "AppData" folder. The first two folders are "Data" and "Lib" (Lib doesn't have anything save related). Data contains loads of game files and a folder called "Content", again, no saves. Content contains loads of in game file folders like sounds, music, animations etc. The only one that could contains saves is another folder called "data" but even then it just doesn't.
Still none the wiser, could you tell me where this "AppData" folder is found? Is it in the Steamapps "AtomZombieSmasher" directory, or elsewhere, maybe?

The save games are stored in the windows application data folder not the game folders.
Type in %appdata%\AtomZombieData into your address bar, that should get you to the game data.
