game isnt working

does anyone know why silent hill is stuck on my loading screen for like 5-10 min? everything else worked fine...but when im trying to load into the game map itself it loads forever...

I had the same issue. Go to your game's folder (Steam / SteamApps / common / silent hill homecoming / Bin), right click on the SilentHill.exe and under compatibility choose to run it as administrator. That fixed it for me.
