My not so glorious battle with Lord Dredmor

After a WHOLE lot of tries (20+ probably), I finally defeated him. I kited him around the lava pits and used throwables. Why? Because he hits me for half max HP each hit (instant death on crits).

He has two attacks that I've seen. A standard up close attack (which hits me for half of my HP when topped), and LONG range electrical attack (which takes about 75% of my health when topped). The long range attack is used rarely, but it hits like a truck. Luckily, he didn't do it that time.

I bet you shat a brick when you first went in there and saw him without expecting it xP, i have no idea how i am going to win, i dont even have pots and get almost owned by random quest bosses anyway.

I only had a few potions, and I picked them up on that dungeon floor. Just pick up any potions that give a buff once you get to floor 8.

;P, maybe Gaslamp will add it someday. This is basically the first public release after all ;).

My rogue character (On Permadeath) was the first to meet him (Sneaking around monsters and using traps got me further than any warrior or mage character). Unless you have a ridiculously powerful trap or some of the super-bolts, good luck beating him with a rogue. He killed me in 2 hits.
