HOMM5 not launching properly

For the past few days whenever I try and launch HOMM5 the game hasn't been launching correctly. It will get as far as the initial loading screen and just freeze. Has anyone else had this issue?

Yes same thing happens to me, with the looping ubisoft audio. I just kill the process and relaunch, it always works on the second attempt... very odd and a little annoying :p.

Yeah, I absolutely should not have to do that. Is there any known reason why that happens?
