Loading Screen Freeze At Specific Level

Hi, I've had an issue with my retail copy of Darkest of Days. Whenever I attempt to do the level called "Onward To Frankenau" the loading screen freezes and it does not move forward. I have tried doing other levels and they all work fine. This is the only one to my knowledge that has this issue. Please help if you can.

Have you verified the game files? Open Steam, go to Libraries. Right click on the game> Properties> Local Files tab> Verify.

Like I said, it's the retail copy of Darkest of Days, I can't verify the files with Steam. I've contemplated buying it again through Steam but that seems unreasonable seeing as I already own it.

Some additional information: I looked through the error log and saw that the issue might be with a corrupt archive. I have no idea what that means but it's progress. I'll look into that and in the meantime keep the help coming. We will get to the bottom of this!
