Rainbow Six 3 resolution

So I just bought RBS3 and I can't change the resolution. I've tried editing the user.ini file manually to set it to 1920x1200 but it still stays the default resolution. Is there a work around for this? I am running Win 7 64 bit.

Did you both go all the way to the actual mission? I ask because at least for me some of the menus are not in the resolution I have set but during game play it is.

You also might want to try running as admin if you are not already.

it should look like this:

R6ScreenSizeX=1920 R6ScreenSizeY=1200 R6ScreenRefreshRate=60 ShowRefreshRates=TRUE


Make sure that you set ShowRefreshRates= to TRUE

Copy the word ShowRefreshRates and hit control f so you can find it then change it to true it is set to false unless you change it which if you do not it wont use your ratios.

Do what Yokozunayojimbo Said however also make the file read-only and take owner ship of it. So the system cannot change it. :)

Tried this solution, but no luck. My res is 1920x1080 and everything in the User.ini is correct, but when a mission loads, it goes to some super low res.
