I got this game gifted to me during the Potato ARG and it's gone from my list.
Do I have to buy it again?

As long as you're logged in to your Steam account with the same username that you used when you activated Cogs, you should ALWAYS have this game. Even if you purchased it for PC, you can now download it for no additional cost on Mac.
