View Full Version : Metro Stations don't appear ?

Just bought Metro Stations and things seemed to go right (the money went through) but I can't seem to find/install them and nothing new appears in the game menu. Any idea what I need to do ?

just the same for me.
I've look for a log and found a log_metro.txt :

so it seemes something goes wrong. in my opinion the dlc is registered but not here in the game. Download problem ?

Same here. Paid, installed and can't find content in the game. What a rip off!

For every one who have the same problem I suggest to open a support ticket in the steam support section. It seemes that the problem is known from steam from day one the fisrt DLC came out. And they didn't do anything. So may be spamming the support system will make them react.:mad:

I'm not sure what to do here. I have submitted 2 support tickets since this past weekend, and I have nothing but silence from Steam Support. Paradox Support is only willing to refer you to their support forums, and all I found was a thread complaining that it costs money (http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?547647-Metro-Station-DLC). My wording in my requests have been as polite and patient as anyone can be, but 3 days later I have heard nothing from Steam other than the automated request confirmation.

To what end would spamming support accomplish if they don't respond? I'm getting real frustrated with this completely aloof support experience here, and this has certainly negatively impacted my future consideration of product purchases through Steam, as well as the products of Paradox Interactive for their aloof approach to customer service as well.

Unfortunately, the Steam terms of service clearly states no refunds are given so I guess I'm screwed out of $3 to find out what Steam support is like. At least this hard lesson didn't hurt too bad.

I suppressed my indignation at paying for this minor release and forked out the cash via Steam and...no stations appearing in game either!

I'm using Mac OSX Lion and have had no problem with other packs - I have all other CIM 'expansions'.

Pretty disappointing as this seems to be a common issue - it's still for sale on Steam with no comments, and no official support that I can find yet.

Thank you for contacting Steam Support.

Downloadable content will not be listed as a separate entry in your Steam games list.

When purchased, this content will be automatically downloaded and incorporated into the game.

To view the additional content for this game that is registered to your account, please do the following:

1) Log in to Steam
2) Navigate to your Library list
3) Right-click on the game
4) Select "View downloadable content".

Alternatively, you can also find the DLC (downloadable content) for a game by right-clicking on the game, selecting 'Properties' and navigating to the DLC tab.

Let us know if you have any further difficulty.

needless to say, I'm annoyed.

I'm running the game on a mac, is everyone else who's having this problem running it on a mac? or are there windows users out there with the same problem?

I am having the same problem with my Mac. Bought it today and hey presto......it doesn't work.

Design club - it doesn't matter that steam say they offer no refunds. If the product does not work goto moneyclaim online . co .uk and put a claim in for the money back. It'll soon be sorted then!

So i bought the metro now DLC for Cities in Motion, but it has not installed and downloaded into the game. steam has directly told me that this should have occurred, and as it has not, to contact paradox support.

this seems to be a common problem for people using steam.

When I ran the game yesterday it downloaded the new content and it's showing, not a peep from tech support however ...
