It doesn't need more "commercial" It's been in development for a few years and has been on alot of people's lists. It won't die, especially if they're planning a closed beta lasting an entire month to polish things and clean it up.

It's a bit of an unknown quantity at the moment, so normally I wouldn't pre-order without at least a demo. Still, looks interesting, and I've been a fan of other RTS/FPS hybrids in the past like Battleswarm

There's a little project we all know and loved for almost a decade that started out as a mod, I think it was named Counter-Strike, now we all do have that love-hate relationship with that game, but it's proof that "the little guy" can rise up and become great...
