Crysis 2 Steam gift

Hi everyone,

I still have a Crysis 2 gift in my account, but i noticed the game was removed from steam....so my question is:

Can i still send the gift? or it will get lost in the process.

steam still supports crysis 2 for everyone that bought it before its removal but you have a good point there with gifting it.

might be safer to check with support as if its not valid they owe you a refund.

I would say that you almost certainly can gift it.

A friend of mine had two copies of Global Agenda he never used; one for himself and one as a gift, and he had bought them on Steam when Global Agenda costed. He was able to gift me Global Agenda, even though the game is free. Then I had to contact Steam to get the CD key so that I could get the elite status.

Likewise, I have Dragon Age 2 on Steam, even though it was removed (since I had it before it was removed).


So, combining these two things, I'd say you could gift it.
