Thanks. Also bought Recettear preorder.

Unlike some jerks, I don't need to wait til price drops to a single dollar to buy these kind of games.

I bought it too. Entered Steam, checked news and there was Chatelise. I told to myself: even if I promised I wouldn't spend more money after the Summer Sale Recettear made me had some good times so why not give this one a try. I also love the developers who are localizing this so they deserve the money.

Next moment, I clicked buy Chantelise. Now downloading it.

I was waiting for it for about 3 hours to unlock. So worth it...

Recettear: 2010 GotY
Chantelise: 2011 GotY

It doesn't even matter they were originally released before then.

Technically though, the price is dropped right now. But seriously, once I saw it was available, I got it too :P

Well I was planning on waiting, not necessarily for a sale but because I was planning on spending a lot of time in From Dust. Until Ubi decided that game needed stupid restrictive DRM on top of being on Steam.

That sorta cleared my scheduled and made picking this up a no brainer :)
(the fact I read the game has a fishing mini game didn't hurt it any)

I don't actually know chantelise all that well but recognized it as Carpe Fulgurs work immediately and bought it. Got the pack for €5 containing recettear so even if i dont like it €7.19 extra is worth it even if only just to support carpe fulgur, those guys rock.

Couldn't pre-order it unfortunately since there was no pre-order :P

But yeah, also purchased as soon as I opened Steam today, though that wasn't exactly when the game was made available. I love Carpge Fulgur and what they are doing, thank you very much for bringing us these games, patiently awaiting for more.

There's always an ♥♥♥ like you who feels they're awesome just because they buy a game at full price.

Everyone that i know who bought Recettear when it was on sale did so for one reason, it was a game they didn't know, from a company they didn't know, in a genre they didn't know. Hence they went in cautiously and waited till it was out for a while to see what people thought.

Oddly enough they all went on to buy this game today. Going on your feelings i must be the best guy in the world since i bought 20 copies of the game at launch.

Hey, if you did, then you could be. Also, there's a reason Recettear had a demo anyway.

Honestly, Recettear and Chantelise are two of the very, very few games I purchased right when they became available.
Carpe Fulgur is doing us a great service by localizing the games, and I'll always be quick to recommend their projects to others~

I hope Carpe Fulgur doesn't become too ambitious with their localizations and just keep true to their great sense of humor.

No spare money atm.

Does that make me a cheap jerk? :P

Don't worry, I'm not serious! (apart from the money part)

Carpe Fulgur proved they deserved my money with Recettear.

This was a day-one for me the minute I heard about it.

And I regret nothing.

Like someone else said there was a reason there was a demo also your friends had to wait a while for it to be on sale before im sure they would have bought it anyways, and of course reading about it from everyone else who bought it before the sale.

I played the demo for Recettear and didn't like it. Then I decided to buy it anyways for 5 bucks, since I was hearing nothing but good things about it, and decided to give it another shot. I loved it.
