Has anyone else spent an inordinate amount of time fishing in this game?

Judging by the timers I've probably spent at least 2 hours (out of 11) fishing...for some reason Chante fighting the fish doesn't seem to be getting old.
I also spent lots of time fishing in: Torchlight, Okami, Sonic Adventure and World of Warcraft (maybe others?)...yet I've never been fishing in real life...

Fishing in some games is just so fun sometimes and time consuming.

In real life I just ragequit when fishing.

Real life fishing takes a lot of patience, in videogames you get the rush of instant, or near instant satisfaction.

And thanks to select laws, you can't go out and drink on your boat anymore and fish...how it used to be.
