Hello all,

This game looks fine, I just pre-order it and can't wait to try the beta. I hope developers will add more maps and more content like vehicules and new weapons soon.

Well, Im a hardcore PvP player and Im wondering if Nuclear Dawn will support clan management and also anything similar to "clan wars"?

While there has been no talk so far of any officially listed clan wars, at the end of the day, this is a strategic game with dedicated servers. It's supporting clan-based gameplay without specifically creating a gametype for it. There are squads and a commander, it couldn't be more perfect for it.

They did say Steamplay and Steamworks enabled somewhere I think... and if I recall correctly these functionalities do include that. But I don't know to what depth.

if the game is successful I am sure there will be some IRC channels set up for scrims and matches. Most hardcore comp gamers use IRC anyway.

Maybe about 7 or 8 years ago, not so much these days. VOIP is where its at

I think we are talking about two different things. IRC for setting up matches, and using VOIP (Vent,etc.) for talking in game with your clan mates.

Most of the leagues and comp games I play/have played still use IRC.
