Cannot start a server for mates?

hey guys

having problems trying to create a listen server for me and a mate... it always just auto creates a lan server for us both so we cannot connect.

its frustrating now been 5 hours none stop trying to get it to work?

When you're creating the server there is a option where you select if it's lan only or not. It's defaulted to yes, change it to no.

If you've already done that, then I have no clue. It works fine for me. You could always try to do sv_lan 0 in console after the server is on.

Do you have the right ports forwarded? You have to have 27015 forwarded to let people connect over the internet.
