What happens if all regions have been evacuated or secured?

I just ended a 20 000 point game one region away from that outcome, and now I'm curious. Incidentally, if there are no Zed infestations on the map at all (a state propably reached through the prepostrous use of Llama bombs), the month passes without a combat operation and the player is awarded five scientists.

I just did a 30K point run, and managed to clear or evacuate all territories. The game notifies you that all territories are accounted for, the campaign ends, and whichever side has the most points wins.

If you put the option for the zed to attack any area the game continues even if you clear everything, till you reach the points total.

Maybe you played with the option what zombies can retake already secured sectors? (just a guess, havent tried what myself yet)

Without this, I can verify that once you secured all sectors (all belong to you, no idea what happens if one is just black) you will get 5 scientists and after that the game instantly ends the campaign.

Played a 999999 points campaign and ended it at 25k, so yeah, I am pretty sure this was due to the zombies not being able to attack new land as all had been taken and secured by me.

I think some of you are talking about what happens when you remove all the zombies from a map that still has untouched regions. Capturing or evacuating every single territory on the map is a much rarer occurrence.

That happens if there are still grey areas that can be infected. You get 5 scientists bonus, the areas are scored and then on the next turn Z appear in a couple of random grey areas.

If you've got them all black or white, then the game will end.
